Accessing ChatGPT
Welcome back. Now, as of the recording of this video, one of the cornerstone platforms that will help you to get started with generative AI is from the Open AI platform, and it’s called Chat, G p T. And if you go to your favorite search engine and you type in chat G p T on one word, you’re going to see a search result.
You can then click on this area that says Introducing chat, G P T. If you don’t already have a free account, you can click on this button that says Try chat G P T. What you’ll need to do then is to sign up for an account. If you don’t have one, you can use your Google or Microsoft account. To log in,
you’ll need to go through a mobile verification. Once you have access chat, G B T will tell you that this is a free research preview. You are going to click next. It will tell you how they will be collecting data. You’ll then click next. You’ll then note that what OpenAI wants is feedback. You can then click done and you’ll then have access to chat G P T in order to begin working with generative ai.
Intro To Generative AI
Welcome back. You are now looking at Google Bard, and regardless of which tool you use, understanding generative AI is to understand that you are typing in queries and you are developing a context for a specific conversation. The system works by you writing in a prompt and then telling the system what it is that you want to create and output each of the queries becomes conversational because you can follow up with questions without having to detail how your question fits into the initial question.
Technically, whichever AI that you are working with remembers the conversation and the context and then outputs based on that context. And so what you’re doing is you’re using repeated prompts in order to get the exact information that you want inside of the generative ai. Now, each AI platform is going to have a different set of parameters, and those parameters will change over time.
Now, as of the recording of this video, you’ve seen a brief demonstration of Google Bard, and it could be quite possible that by the time that you see this video, or by the time you access Google Bard, that the interface has changed and the nature of how it works will change. However, what will always be the same is that you will need to type in prompts.
